How the monitor works
The two sections answer different questions. Each keeps implementing rules and AMC/GM amendments in their proper source documents.
Compare Annex VII
When you open or refresh the monitor, it checks which consolidated Aircrew Regulation edition EUR-Lex currently lists. If a newer edition is available, it extracts the numbered Part-ORA points in Annex VII and compares their wording against the June 2020 standalone edition.
You can filter the changed points and inspect both texts side by side. A wording difference signals that you should review the official provision; it does not by itself establish when or how a requirement applies.
Review EASA decisions
The separate AMC/GM section checks EASA’s publication list when the page opens or you refresh it. It shows the marked changes extracted from Part-ORA Issue 1, Amendments 8 (2025) and 9 (2026), including the affected ORA points.
If EASA lists a newer publication whose paragraphs have not been mapped, the monitor marks it for review. It does not treat a newly listed decision as already incorporated into the saved extracts.
Know what was checked
Each section identifies whether its live source check succeeded and shows its check time. If EUR-Lex is unavailable, the implementing rule section clearly labels its saved 30 April 2026 comparison as dated. The AMC/GM section likewise distinguishes saved amendment extracts from a current EASA publication check.
The monitor checks when a visitor opens or refreshes the page. Updates can only be reflected after the official source publishes them and its data can be retrieved.
